About the Role

We're looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Email Marketing Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our email marketing initiatives across the customer lifecycle. You'll play a critical role in driving engagement, pipeline growth, and retention through data-driven, impactful email programs. As a key member of our lifecycle marketing team, you'll bring a mix of creative and technical expertise to shape our global email strategy, ensure flawless execution, and continuously improve performance. You'll manage our email systems, collaborate cross-functionally, and uphold the highest standards of compliance and deliverability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end email marketing strategy and execution across platforms like Salesforce Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) and Customer.io to drive customer engagement, product adoption, and revenue.
  • Manage Validity's email design system and template library, ensuring scalability, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Lead the development and execution of nurture programs, triggered campaigns, and newsletters across the customer lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain a performance-driven email calendar aligned with business goals and marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee campaign QA, deliverability best practices, segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing strategy.
  • Incorporate personalization at scale using dynamic content, behavioral triggers, and data-driven segmentation to deliver relevant and timely messaging across the customer journey.
  • Partner with analytics and marketing ops to report on email performance, uncover insights, and continuously optimize results.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues within the email tech stack, including integration and automation challenges.
  • Ensure full compliance with global privacy regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.) and champion email best practices across the organization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with content, product marketing, design, and sales teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact email communications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing, with at least 2 years in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to lead email marketing strategy and execution in Salesforce Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) and Customer.io.
  • Strong grasp of HTML/CSS for email and experience maintaining scalable design systems.
  • Hands-on experience with email personalization tools and dynamic content to deliver targeted, relevant messaging at scale.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in campaign performance reporting and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Highly collaborative with strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and email compliance standards.
  • Experience working across global teams and with multiple stakeholder groups is a plus.
