About the Role

Our client in the health and wellness space is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist. This role involves full cycle automation for email campaigns, including building, deploying, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position is hybrid onsite, requiring 3 days per week in the office, and is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a focus on email marketing best practices and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy segmented marketing campaigns using Iterable and Handlebars
Troubleshoot issues with email delivery and campaign logic
Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges
Perform QA/QC on all outgoing communications
Support mobile messaging as needed
Assist with data segmentation and light HTML/CSS coding
Manage new email requests and ensure timely execution
Build and manage full cycle automations for email campaigns

Requirements

3+ years' experience within email marketing campaign development, management, and building automated journeys
Ability to push back as needed and pivot priorities based on urgent needs
Proven experience leading campaigns and reporting on insights
Experience with Iterable or similar ESPs
Strong understanding of email marketing best practices
Light HTML/CSS and segmentation logic experience
Background in email operations, preferably within an agency or fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

Experience with marketing analytics
Familiarity with web design or direct mail
Background in QA/QC or marketing operations
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Qualifications

Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Physically located in and able to perform work in the United States
