About the Role

This role is with a client of Syndicatebleu, a Women-Owned creative staffing agency under the Career Group Companies umbrella. We specialize in connecting marketing, creative, and tech professionals with forward-thinking companies nationwide. The company is a digital investment firm seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to design and execute email campaigns for various financial services on a freelance or temp-to-perm basis.

Key Responsibilities

Develop targeted email strategies for different investor profiles and financial products
Write clear, engaging copy for automated email journeys (e.g., onboarding, activation, trading)
Create content to drive retention, engagement, and increase assets under management
Provide timely market updates and trading opportunity communications
Produce educational content on investing, market trends, and financial products
Collaborate with compliance to ensure regulatory alignment
Work with designers to create visually aligned, on-brand email content
Analyze campaign metrics and apply insights to improve copy effectiveness

Requirements

Degree in Finance, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in finance or fintech
Strong knowledge of retail investing and financial markets
Proven success in creating copy that drives customer acquisition
Familiar with FINRA and SEC marketing regulations
Experience with A/B testing and data-driven copywriting
Knowledge of email marketing tools and best practices

Nice to Have

Candidates with references are preferred
Having an updated LinkedIn profile and collecting references early

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
3+ years of copywriting experience
