About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Develop embedded software and firmware for Masterflex pumps and End-of-Line (EOL) test systems.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, following Agile practices: requirements, architecture, design, implementation, testing, and release.
Write high-quality, maintainable code for our pump electromechanical systems.
Conduct design and code reviews to ensure best practices for performance, safety, and maintainability are followed.
Analyze and troubleshoot system-level issues and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to ensure product functionality and reliability.
Support risk analysis and contribute to regulatory documentation as needed.
Maintain version control using Git and adhere to structured software development processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in C or C++ for embedded systems development.
Expertise in at least one of the following areas: Control Systems (e.g., PID, robotics), Signal Processing, Networking (TCP/IP).
Familiarity with serial communication protocols such as UART, SPI, or I2C.
Willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies as needed.

Nice to Have

Master's degree or 3+ years of industry experience in embedded software development.
Python or scripting experience for automation and testing.
Experience with automated test equipment or EOL testers.
Exposure to RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems) and/or Embedded Linux.
Experience with PLC systems or industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP or PROFINET.

Qualifications

Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
