End to end testing (Backend - Settlement) ONSITE

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Follow SOP provided by Fiserv and execute steps accordingly.
• Support mainframe platform batch and CICS with DB2 processing, engaging with development to resolve environment-related issues impacting client testing cycles.
• Monitor E2E batch flow to ensure processing on time, identify issues, and follow up for resolution.
• Serve as an escalation point for client issues related to the E2E environment.
• Analyze documentation supporting changes in a complex E2E environment.
• Perform root cause analysis, investigate batch job failures, escalate issues, and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Ensure E2E client service level agreements are attained.
• Troubleshoot and restore batch processing services on mainframe using industry techniques.
• Implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring batch job failures, coordinate and monitor change activities, and update procedures.
• Support transmissions, replay/retransmit files as needed.
• Initiate bridge calls for problem resolution involving multiple application and support teams.
• Page application teams for batch issues/abends and escalate to additional resources when necessary.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Fiserv L3 team.

Requirements

• Experience in mainframe computer operations processes and familiarity with JCL, root cause analysis, and batch job failure resolution.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
• Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to management and follow escalation procedures.
• Troubleshooting skills for complex technical problems and process reengineering.
• Familiarity with CA-7 scheduler, Connect Direct/NDM, and supporting batch processing cycles.
• Strong expertise in Mainframe SCM administration, particularly with ISPW Changeman and Endevor.
• Proficiency in z/OS Administration for system management and support.
• Understanding of the Cards & Payments domain and industry practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactive approach to process improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting complex E2E environments in banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and security standards.
• Experience with incident management and escalation procedures.
