About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide performance testing capabilities for complex applications.
• Work with stakeholders daily to design test cases, create performance test scripts, and execute performance scenarios.
• Write technical performance test plans under the direction of a Performance Lead.
• Develop data driven load test scripts using Citrix Protocol.
• Use Load Runner (or Meter) to design and execute load and performance tests.
• Lead the data creation activities for the required load tests.
• Design and execute load tests including load, failover, and aging tests.
• Work closely with application development, architecture, infrastructure, and production support groups for defect triage and production planning.
• Report findings according to a defined process, such as sending an email.
• Participate in project/team meetings and actively contribute.

Requirements

• About 5-10 years of previous hands-on experience as developer and/or performance architect.
• Understanding of web protocols including HTTP, Citrix, etc.
• Experience in load management applications like LoaniQ (Finastra) is a plus.
• Proficiency in using VUGen 9.5 or greater for advanced test script development.
• Experience in programming languages such as C, Java, SQL, and scripting.
• Specialized Python programming skills.
• Ability to use monitoring/profiling tools like Dynatrace, CA Wily Introscope, AWR reports to monitor and report application performance.
• Knowledge of Splunk for load test analysis.
• Understanding of distributed load test environments and application architecture.
• Knowledge of web performance bottlenecks and end-to-end performance measures.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in load and performance testing environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Development experience in addition to performance architecture.
• Experience with load management applications like LoaniQ (Finastra).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science.

• Salary range of $110,000-$130,000 a year.
