About the Role

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Spectrum Business, you will partner with clients to deliver a complete portfolio of solutions, building relationships through sales calls, company visits, networking, and industry events. Spectrum Business provides modern enterprise technology solutions tailored to the needs of major brands. The role involves supporting client growth, working alongside driven professionals, and connecting clients with telecommunications products that meet their complex and evolving needs. You will complete award-winning training, attain or exceed monthly quotas, and manage accounts through email campaigns, cold calling, discovery calls, client presentations, and closing deals. The position offers field-based sales activities with flexibility between home, client locations, and office environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete a 12-week paid sales training program recognized for excellence in sales enablement.
  • Consult with established and prospective clients to develop product solutions.
  • Deliver product proposals and presentations to decision-makers and close deals.
  • Identify target markets, industries, and contacts for the product portfolio.
  • Qualify leads by submitting ROI analyses and requesting site surveys to determine serviceability.
  • Encourage client retention through coordinated efforts with multiple internal teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients through sales calls, company visits, networking, and industry events.
  • Work primarily out in front of clients, managing sales activities across various locations.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of sales experience as a proven sales performer exceeding goals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, high capacity networks, and fiber connected networks.
  • Effective relationship building, negotiation, closing, and English communication skills.
  • Quick learner, deadline-driven, and able to manage change and shifting priorities.
  • Travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities; valid driver's license.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience selling telecommunications products.
