Entry Level SEO Strategist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support and grow our organic traffic footprint through hands-on tactical execution and process development.
• Prioritize SEO content initiatives using KOB (Keyword Opposition to Benefit) analysis.
• Conduct keyword research using tools such as Ahrefs and Answer The Public.
• Update and optimize existing content to improve rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Assist in creating content briefs and outlines for freelance writers and internal teams.
• Recruit and manage freelance writers through platforms like WriterAccess and Upwork.
• Use industry-leading tools including Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and more.
• Perform on-page audits and technical reviews, flagging and fixing issues related to crawlability, site structure, internal linking, and metadata.
• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices.
• Track performance of SEO efforts using internal reports, Google Analytics, and SEO reporting tools.
• Experiment with emerging SEO trends, AI-driven content tools, and growth hacks.
• Document and refine SEO processes for scalability and repeatability.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented, data-driven, and curious.
• Familiar with the basics of SEO and have used SEO tools before.
• Strong communicator with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Willing to test ideas, learn rapidly, and work in a fast-paced environment.
