About the Role

As part of Ralph Lauren's Next Generation Transformation (NGT) initiative, this role involves managing and optimizing product and material master data during a major ERP system transition. The position supports data governance, migration, and alignment of master data strategies with business transformation objectives within a global organization committed to fostering an inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead product and material master data management efforts within the ERP transformation program.
Provide expertise in SAP Fashion/Retail article master data structures, governance, and optimization.
Define and enforce data standards, policies, and best practices for product master data across all business units.
Ensure alignment of product data models with business processes and ERP system architecture.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and ERP vendors to drive accurate and consistent master data solutions.
Support data migration initiatives, ensuring seamless data transfer and transformation from legacy systems to SAP S4 Fashion.
Work with Syniti or equivalent data migration tools to ensure efficient and accurate data migration.
Oversee data cleansing, validation, and enrichment to improve overall data quality and integrity.
Serve as the primary liaison for master data-related decisions in the Design Authority, ensuring consistency across functional teams.
Develop and implement strategies for ongoing data maintenance, governance, and lifecycle management post-implementation.
Work with upstream IT systems partners to design and build scalable integration to bring required product master data into ERP.

Requirements

Many years of experience in SAP product/material master data management.
Experience working with SAP Fashion/Retail article master data.
Leadership experience managing master data teams and initiatives.
Hands-on experience with SAP S4 Fashion/Retail, including expertise in product master data structures, attributes, and hierarchies.
Strong background in data migration methodologies, with experience in Syniti preferred.
Knowledge of SAP data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business, IT, and external partners.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data concepts into business-friendly language.
Experience working in a global organization with multi-region ERP deployments.
Willingness to travel as required to support the global implementation.
