About the Role

The ERP System Support Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, SQL report writing, assisting in the implementation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and support of integrated ERP enterprise applications. The position works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This is an exempt, staff position reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications. This position will be paid by LSCO and will work mostly on the LSCO campus in Orange, TX.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and work incidents and service requests submitted by users for multiple applications
Work on projects as designated by the Director of Enterprise Applications or as needed with other departments
Configure, maintain, and support multiple applications
Assign application security for multiple applications
Work with third party vendors on configuration, integration, and data issues
Configure Banner printers
May be required to travel to work related conferences, in and out of state
Performs other related tasks, as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related area with two years of experience OR a related associate degree with three years of experience
Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems
Knowledge of networking
Knowledge of SFTP and SSH
Knowledge of SSO
Knowledge of VPN
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Nice to Have

Experience with Ellucian Banner and related applications
Experience with UC4 Automic job scheduler
Experience with Evisions applications
Experience with UNIX and/or PowerShell scripting
Experience with Oracle SQL
Experience with using a help desk ticketing application

Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related area with two years of experience
Or a related associate degree with three years of experience
