About the Role

CVS Health is transforming the future of healthcare through data-driven innovation. The company is seeking a visionary and enterprise-minded executive director to lead Data and Analytics Solutions Strategy across Primary Care, Specialty Care, and Oncology. This role involves shaping and executing the enterprise-wide data strategy, driving commercial growth, and unlocking new value for pharmaceutical partners and patients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in pharmaceutical data, a track record of building high-impact analytics organizations, and the ability to influence at the highest levels of the healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the long-term vision for CVS Health's pharmaceutical data and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and market evolution.
Oversee the financial performance of the Data & Analytics portfolio, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
Serve as a senior ambassador to pharmaceutical manufacturers, shaping strategic partnerships across commercial, medical, and market access functions.
Champion the development of next-generation analytics capabilities, including AI and real-world evidence, to position CVS Health as a market leader in pharma analytics.
Partner with senior leaders across product, technology, operations, and client services to deliver integrated, scalable solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
Build and lead a high-performing, diverse leadership team; foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
Represent CVS Health at industry forums, regulatory discussions, and executive roundtables to influence the future of healthcare analytics.

Requirements

15+ years of progressive leadership in pharmaceutical data, analytics, or healthcare strategy, including executive-level roles.
10+ years of proven success in leading enterprise-scale transformations and commercial growth initiatives.
5+ years of experience working with Pharma data, developing analytics solutions hands-on.
Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, including commercialization, real-world evidence, and regulatory trends.
Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and external partners.

Nice to Have

Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in relevant field of study.
Experience within Fortune 100 healthcare or life sciences organizations.
Track record of launching new business lines or innovation hubs.
Expertise in AI/ML, data science, and digital health technologies.
Familiarity with CVS Health's data ecosystem and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) strongly preferred.
