Job Description

About the Role

The Executive Director, Specialty-Multi Channel, Clinique NA, strategically drives sales growth of the Estee Lauder and Aerin brands for Specialty Multi Channel (SMC) retailers across both channels. The role involves owning retailer relationships and P&L, tailoring assortments, creating retailer-specific marketing programs, and leading a team while collaborating with retailers and cross-functional partners within and outside of the Brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own retailer relationships and the P&L, including establishing seasonal targets for retail and net sales, demonstration/freelance, co-op, CAPEX, and samples.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that guide category priorities, marketing campaigns, assortment/merchandising, and events based on a deep understanding of the SMC market.
  • Partner with the Retailer, the Field, and the Marketing Team to develop knowledge of the customer at each retailer.
  • Collaborate with planning partners and retailers to create seasonal sales and stock plans.
  • Partner with the Brand's E-Commerce Team to develop strategies and tactics for outsized growth.
  • Create marketing and activation calendars for each retailer across channels, leveraging the brand's categories and subcategories.
  • Conceptualize and execute 360 marketing campaigns tailored to each channel at each retailer.
  • Partner with the Marketing Team to develop integrated media strategies aligned with national and retailer KPIs.
  • Drive retailer-specific and field-driven programs, including seasonal strategies for high-traffic shopping moments, and ensure all assets and in-store elements communicate the brand message effectively.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related work experience, preferably in retail/channel business development, account management, planning, or consulting.
  • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, including deep knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of complex data into meaningful conclusions.
  • Ability to structure documents such as PowerPoint presentations and business summaries to communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and influence skills.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent.
