About the Role

The Marketing Specialist at Moody Nolan is a highly organized communicator responsible for producing marketing and sales materials to secure transformational design work. They work closely with marketing managers and support various marketing initiatives, contributing to the firm's commitment to design excellence, diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role involves managing proposal and interview materials, maintaining content libraries, and assisting with pursuit tracking, all within a firm that values responsible citizenship and community uplift through architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the pursuit process from start to finish, working with diverse teams to ensure the on-time completion of response materials, primarily using InDesign to produce proposal and interview materials including content such as narratives, photography, resumes, project data, and consultant information.
  • Provide support for various marketing and practice-building initiatives, including brochures, thought leadership content, award submissions, and conferences.
  • Maintain a standard library of content and master files.
  • Assist with data entry and pursuit tracking initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Writing, Marketing, Graphic Design, or similar.
  • 5 years of experience, with experience in AEC / Professional Services considered a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate teams to reach consensus.
  • Eye for design and understanding of principles of layout.
  • High attention to detail, including proofing for accuracy and grammar.
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective collaborator.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adhere to and interpret brand standards.
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint and OpenAsset is a plus.
