About the Role

The Fire Products Sales Territory Manager at Siemens is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within the Northeast/New England area, focusing on channel sales for Siemens Fire Products. This hybrid role involves representing a leading brand in Project Fire Alarm and Safety Systems, working with partners, contractors, engineers, and end-users to promote fire safety solutions, and driving profitable growth through strategic business planning and account development. The position reports to the Northeast Area Sales Manager and requires living near specified cities and a major airport within the territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new Partner prospects within the third-party channel of the territory
  • Drive profitable growth through strategic business planning and account development to meet or exceed channel sales targets
  • Present, promote, and sell Fire Safety solutions to existing and prospective Partners, Contractors, Engineers, and End-Users
  • Develop a proactive response to customer needs and business priorities utilizing Siemens resources, while operating in a time efficient and organized manner
  • Monitor sales activity and conduct regular business reviews
  • Become a trusted advisor and solution provider to partners by demonstrating industry knowledge and fire safety portfolio expertise
  • Assist the Product Development team with new product roll outs including training, supporting documents, competitive analysis, test sites, promotions, and other activities
  • Perform to plan and drive a bottoms-up forecast, setting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for various sales metrics

Requirements

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED
  • Experience with commercial Fire Alarm and Safety Products
  • Experience selling direct to customers or end-users, or in Account Management, Project Management, or Operations
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Good mix of account management and new business development skills
  • Strong sales and marketing background with a track record of success in achieving goals
  • Working knowledge of a CRM sales tool
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with cold calling, networking, and industry outreach
  • Willing and able to travel to customer sites 3-4 days per week
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years' experience with Fire Alarm and Safety Products
  • 5+ years' experience selling direct to customers or end-users
  • Memberships within industry organizations such as NFPA, SFPE, AFAA

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • The pay range for this position is $73,500 - $150,000
  • Annual incentive target is 45% of salary base
