About the Role

The FLX Account Executive at FOX Television Stations is responsible for driving digital video revenue growth for the FLX streaming platform. The role involves generating, retaining, and expanding digital video sales by engaging new advertisers and maintaining strong client relationships. The position requires a proactive individual with a background in digital sales and marketing, working within a leading media company that owns and operates multiple broadcast television stations across major U.S. markets, producing local news and distributing content nationally.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the General Sales Manager and Regional Digital Sales Manager to meet budgeted revenue goals.
Identify and research potential accounts to source new sales opportunities.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline of qualified clients for FLX.
Present FLX to clients and prospects, ensuring a consistent market presence.
Stay informed on competitive offerings and industry trends.
Serve as a digital consultant to agencies and direct clients.
Steward client campaigns, develop impactful campaign recaps, and provide optimization recommendations.
Foster positive working relationships with the Insights, Ad-Ops, Creative Services, support staff, and finance teams.
Travel within the assigned territory, including Michigan, Ohio, and Toronto, CA.

Requirements

Ability to travel within the assigned territory: Michigan, Ohio, Toronto, CA.
Proven digital sales or marketing experience with a self-motivated drive to succeed.
Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort in a metrics and results-driven sales culture, with strong presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and passport.
2-3 years of successful experience in the digital media industry, focusing on Digital Video Advertising, Digital Agency, or Digital Publisher roles.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Wide Orbit Traffic.
Experience in Digital Video Advertising, Digital Agency, or Digital Publisher roles.
Existing relationships with senior-level client and/or agency decision-makers.
Digital Agency relationships.
Knowledge of political and Tier 2 & 3 automotive categories.

Qualifications

2-3 years of successful experience in the digital media industry, with a focus on Digital Video Advertising, Digital Agency, or Digital Publisher roles.
