About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a strategic social media content calendar reflecting brand initiatives, product launches, campaigns, and events.
• Foster a strong community by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and creating authentic connections.
• Monitor social channels for trends, questions, and concerns relevant to the cannabis industry.
• Monitor and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations based on metrics like engagement, reach, growth, and sentiment.
• Ensure all content aligns with cannabis marketing regulations and guidelines, as well as brand voice, standards, and values.
• Stay updated on social media trends, cannabis industry news, and platform updates to continuously innovate social media strategy.

Requirements

• Proficiency in content strategy and creation, including developing and managing social media content calendars.
• Experience in community engagement and authentic follower interaction.
• Ability to analyze social media metrics and generate performance reports.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations related to cannabis marketing.
• Ability to stay current with social media trends and industry news.
• Experience managing social media channels for brands, preferably in the cannabis industry.
