  • Govern Frontend Standards: Establish and enforce design system adoption, code standards, and architectural best practices across all frontend projects.
  • Partner Across Product Areas: Serve as a shared service to the eCommerce and Leader Tools product teams, ensuring both areas benefit from shared design, components, and technology.
  • Mentor & Guide Developers: Provide technical guidance and governance to full-stack and frontend developers, conduct reviews, and enable successful adoption of patterns and tooling.
  • Ensure Consistency & Accessibility: Champion pixel-perfect UI, responsiveness, performance, accessibility (WCAG), and localization standards in all experiences.
  • Tooling & Documentation: Deliver excellent tooling and documentation to support developer self-service and cross-team collaboration.
  • Drive Innovation: Stay ahead of trends in frontend frameworks, design system architecture, and development workflows to continually modernize our frontend ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development, including 3+ years in a technical leadership or architectural role.
  • Deep expertise in React and Vue, with strong proficiency in modern frontend development using TypeScript.
  • Proven experience with meta-frameworks such as Next.js (React) and Nuxt (Vue), including an understanding of SSR, SSG, and ISR rendering strategies.
  • Strong background in component-driven development, modular architecture, and scalable design systems.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Storybook, Chromatic, Figma integrations, design tokens, and component documentation workflows.
  • Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), performance optimization, and responsive design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and enforce frontend governance, including coding conventions, component versioning, testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with a history of cross-functional impact across product, design, and engineering teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in eCommerce, web content management systems, loyalty platforms and complex multi-role user systems.
  • Familiarity with monorepo management tools (e.g., Nx, Turborepo) and visual testing pipelines.
  • Experience with API integration patterns (REST, GraphQL) and coordination with backend teams.
  • Contributions to open-source design systems or frontend libraries.
