About the Role

As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you can resolve problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile environment. This role involves developing software and systems from vision to production, using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges, ensure solutions consider current architecture and future enhancements, and contribute to system improvements beyond just coding.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software.
Leverage understanding of business applications, user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.
Work with technical staff to understand and resolve software problems.
Respond to customer complaints and suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Assist in development of software user manuals.
Assume responsibility for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, and automated patching and deployment technologies.
Document and train users, including automating application and configuration deployments and updates.

Requirements

8+ years of experience as a back-end developer, full stack developer, or Java developer.
Experience with developing, testing, and deploying back-end and front-end software in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, Typescript, or .NET.
Experience with developing, testing, and deploying Java software using Java Development Kit.
Experience implementing and using backend frameworks such as Java Spring, Node.js, Go Gin, AngularJS, React, NextJS, NestJS, Hibernate, or Struts.
Experience with software development life cycle processes, including Agile development.
Experience with system design, software design patterns, and antipatterns.
Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree.

Nice to Have

Experience with development tools such as Git, integrated development environments, or code quality tools.
Experience in front-end, back-end, and API design.
Experience leading multiple teams in technical design and implementation.
Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing technical, functional, and performance issues.
