About the Role

The Garage Logic Digital Content Specialist is a part-time, in-office position responsible for growing and creating digital awareness for the Garage Logic Podcast and Garage Logic Podcast Network. The role involves conceptualizing, producing, editing, and completing video and audio content, expanding social media channels, maintaining digital platforms, and collaborating with sales and programming departments to support digital media projects. The position aims to enhance the station's digital presence and engagement within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and create digital awareness for the Garage Logic Podcast and Garage Logic Podcast Network.
  • Conceptualize, produce, edit, and complete appropriate video clips and audio content for sales, promotions, and digital media projects.
  • Expand and grow Garage Logic's social media channels including X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Offer ideas, suggestions, and concepts for digital media video activities that are innovative and creative.
  • Help maintain the Garage Logic paid platform and add or update digital content on websites, including contests, forms, pages, promotions, events, and imagery.
  • Oversee and handle prize fulfillment.
  • Interface effectively with sales and programming departments to fulfill digital content needs.
  • Assist with and participate in special promotions and community service programs.
  • Learn and assist with stream player questions, functionality, rewards, and settings.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, clients, vendors, and the public.
  • Work on other projects as assigned and attend meetings as needed.
  • Produce engaging and creative video and audio content in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to produce engaging video and audio content for digital platforms.
  • Experience posting to social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, X, and Instagram.
  • Ability to work on short deadlines and in pressure situations.
  • Ability to follow directions and take initiative when needed.
  • Good vision and hearing, manual dexterity, and physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and tactically, and articulate information clearly.

Nice to Have

  • One (1) year of experience operating video and audio equipment (preferred but not required).

Qualifications

  • Entry-level position with less than 1 year of experience preferred.
