About the Role

The Global Account Lead for Global Client and Agency Solutions at Google is responsible for managing client relationships, leading cross-functional teams, and developing strategic plans to help clients achieve their marketing objectives using Google's advertising solutions. This role involves working with C-level clients, driving growth, and shaping the future of advertising in the AI-era, all within a dynamic and innovative environment that values velocity, strategic thinking, and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Executives, set and communicate team priorities, and support activities that align with Google's values.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan and achieve growth goals by presenting Google advertising products and solutions that help clients meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to meet a wide range of marketing objectives.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to deliver results with shared insight and purpose.
  • Experience with leadership in sales/operations management, strategic planning, systems thinking, and influencing executive-level clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Google Ad solutions, video advertising (e.g., AI-powered performance, connected TV, AI-powered video), and the key competitor landscape across traditional and digital brand media advertising.
  • Understanding of customer business objectives and the ability to align strategies to deliver customer outcomes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to deliver results with a shared insight and purpose.
  • Experience with leadership in sales/operations management, strategic planning, and systems thinking.
  • Ability to develop joint business plans in ambiguous environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • US base salary range of $195,000-$275,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
