About the Role

The Global Account Lead for Global Client and Agency Solutions at Google is responsible for managing relationships with key clients, developing strategic joint plans, and leading cross-functional teams to drive client success. This role involves leveraging Google's advertising solutions to help brands grow, navigating the complexities of global marketing environments, and shaping the future of advertising in the AI era. The position requires a passion for sales, online media expertise, and a commitment to maximizing customer outcomes within a dynamic, innovative company culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Executives, set and communicate team priorities, and support activities aligned with Google's values.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan and achieve growth goals by presenting Google advertising products and solutions that help clients meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to meet a wide range of marketing objectives.

Requirements

  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to deliver results with shared insight and purpose.
  • Experience with leadership in sales/operations management, strategic planning, systems thinking, and influencing executive-level clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Google Ad solutions, video advertising (e.g., AI-powered performance, connected TV, AI-powered video), and the key competitor landscape across traditional and digital brand media advertising.
  • Understanding of customer business objectives and ability to align strategies to deliver customer outcomes.
  • Ability to develop joint business plans in ambiguous environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to deliver results with a shared insight and purpose.
  • Experience with leadership in sales/operations management, strategic planning, and systems thinking.
  • Experience influencing executive-level clients and stakeholders while driving results in agile environments.
  • Knowledge of Google Ad solutions, video advertising, and the key competitor landscape.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
