About the Role

The Google TV Go-To-Market (GTM) team is responsible for the go-to-market and business generation efforts focusing on Google TV globally. We focus on developing, scaling, and executing business generation-focused content programs in line with strategic growth initiatives. The team sits within the product organization to bridge Product, Business Development, Marketing, and Ads, aiming to build a sustainable TV business and innovate Google TV business models with content partners. Google TV is redefining the TV experience to be highly personalized, Google-smart, and content-forward, working across OEM ecosystems, third-party streaming partners, and various Google teams to scale across TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners and across the ecosystem, and manage strategic partnerships with entities of all sizes.
  • Work with product and business development to implement scale and business generation strategies including developing plans for key partners.
  • Support existing programs including content promotions and app placement programs which are key areas of growth for the business.
  • Develop and maintain an expert understanding of Google TV and the digital media and entertainment global content landscape while managing and tracking implementation of programs across markets and Media and Entertainment partners.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new business model opportunities globally, including building business cases as required to assess commercial value, and giving consideration to important product and partner priorities and platform-level concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in partner development, sales, business strategy, agreement advisory, and execution in the media and entertainment content industry.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree or a related field.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Ability to partner effectively across a complex global matrixed organization and align multiple cross-functional executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
  • Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
  • Additional benefits include bonus, equity, and other perks as offered by Google.
