About the Role

Intel's Government Information Technology and Security (GITS) organization enables Intel to win United States Government business by providing secure products, solutions, and services which meet U.S. regulatory requirements. The GITS team is part of Intel's Information Security organization and supports the unique IT information Security and Compliance requirements for Intel Federal LLC, a subsidiary of Intel that delivers products and/or services to the US Government (USG). As part of the GITS team, you will help us grow our secure solution suite to meet U.S. Government requirements for data safeguarding. The role involves driving programs delivering US Government data safeguarding services and solutions, managing large cross-functional projects, and ensuring successful delivery of security and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring successful Project/Program Value delivery.
  • Developing processes and methodologies to ensure the success of complex project, product, and release planning, including identification of milestones and project goals, creation of schedules, and tracking of all items to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Managing customer expectations, project deliverables, and milestones.
  • Driving creation and execution of the project/program Plan of Record, including Scope, Requirements Management, Success Criteria, Schedule, Resources, and Quality.
  • Taking responsibility for stakeholder management, including coordination of departmental or cross-functional/cross-organizational teams as well as communicating within the organization, outward to other internal groups, and external customers.
  • Collaborating with GITS Architects, Solution Integrators, Solution Owners, and Product Owners.
  • Acting as a single project/program voice.
  • Having a strong understanding of customers and the customer environment.
  • Defining and managing the project plan, driving closure on issues and gaps, and maintaining focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 10+ years of experience with Project/Program Management in Information Technology (IT) industry, Information Security, or Government Support OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related IT field and 6+ years experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with Project/Program Management in IT, Information Security, or Government Support Management.
  • Verification of U.S. citizenship via valid passport, other approved documents, or US government clearance.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information, lead technical discussions, and deliver results.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.
  • Works both independently and collaboratively with peers and teams.

Nice to Have

  • Active US Government Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph or eligibility to obtain one.
  • PMP Certification and experience with Program Management tools.
  • Security or Cyber certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNA.
  • Experience with Federal Contracting Industry resources for current and emerging regulations.
  • Experience with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), ITAR, and EAR classification frameworks.
  • Experience managing projects for government accreditation.
  • Experience with Information Safeguarding Regulations applicable to Federal Contractors.
  • Experience with NIST SP 800-171 and/or 800-53 regulations and NIST 800-171A assessment and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Project/Program Management within IT, Security, or Government sectors.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US, verification of US citizenship.

  • Annual salary range: $148,500.00 - $209,640.00, dependent on location and experience.
