About the Role

R+L Carriers is seeking an organized and proactive Graphic Designer at their Wilmington, OH Service Center. The role involves supporting the marketing team by developing print and online design solutions that align with corporate communications, training, and marketing strategies. The Graphic Designer will create and maintain engaging digital content for stakeholders, ensure all projects follow brand standards, and manage the entire production process from concept to final delivery. This position requires collaboration with team members and leadership at all levels, with a focus on quality outcomes and effective project management.

Key Responsibilities

Support the marketing team by developing print and online design solutions that align with corporate communications, training, and marketing strategies.
Create and maintain engaging digital content for stakeholders.
Ensure all projects follow brand standards and established processes for quality outcomes.
Provide creative solutions across various print and web projects.
Manage the entire production process from concept to final delivery.
Effectively manage multiple projects at different stages.
Maintain strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail when proofing content.
Collaborate with team members and leadership at all levels.
Consistently update project progress using collaborative project management tools.

Requirements

Must possess compelling design and typography skills as well as the ability to clearly communicate through visual messaging.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Skilled at managing multiple projects and consistently meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Takes initiative and embraces challenges to ensure successful outcomes.
Ability to develop good rapport with staff and vendors to meet customer expectations.
Associate's degree or above in Web, Graphic Design, or Electronic Media.
Willingness to accept and respond to creative direction.
Driven by a passion for continuous learning, growth, and innovation in design.

Nice to Have

Prepress experience.
Photography experience.
Experience with studio lighting and various camera equipment.
Videography/editing experience.
Experience designing for projects that use HTML, CSS, and/or CMS (WordPress and others).
Experience with responsive design concepts.
Experience working with and designing for digital signage and/or CCTV systems.
Experience in UX/UI/Figma.
