Graphic Designer- Advertising Department

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design promotional materials including print and digital assets such as weekly tabs, direct mailers, postcards, banners, and social media content.
• Develop key concepts for promotions including graphic elements, color palettes, design fonts, and background photography props while aligning to our established Style Guide.
• Create appealing layouts and prepare print-ready files with proper bleed, trim marks, and color specifications.
• Work with Photo Studio to integrate and interpret design concepts into photography images.
• Meet all project deadlines for time-sensitive retail promotions and seasonal campaigns, sometimes requiring time investment past typical work week.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and requirements.
• Ensure all designs adhere to established brand guidelines and visual identity.
• Maintain consistency across all customer touchpoints.
• Archive and organize design files for future reference and modifications.
• Design digital assets such as MMS, banners, email, and social media content.
• Create responsive designs for various screen sizes and devices.
• Stay current on retail design trends while preserving brand integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years experience in Advertising, preferably with retail brands.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, focused on InDesign.
• Expertise in designing for print along with knowledge of digital design.
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Detail oriented with a strong visual and aesthetic sense.
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining creativity and technical excellence.
• Experience working in an office setting, open concept studio, and collaborating with merchant and design teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with digital design creation for MMS, banners, email, and social media.
• Knowledge of creating responsive designs for various screen sizes and devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Minimum 2+ years experience in Advertising, preferably with retail brands
