About the Role

The Graphic Designer will join Insomniac's Creative Team, working directly under the Art Director to help define and drive the visual identity of the brand in dance music. The role involves creating high-impact visuals for festivals, merchandise, digital campaigns, and more, contributing to the company's innovative and immersive music events that captivate audiences through cutting-edge lighting, sound, and art installations. Insomniac is a leader in producing large-scale music festivals and club events with a focus on fan experience and cultural relevance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high-level visual assets across digital, print, merchandise, stage visuals, and more.
  • Work closely with the Art Director to translate creative concepts into design deliverables.
  • Maintain brand consistency while bringing fresh, innovative design approaches.
  • Support and review the work of junior designers and freelancers when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on event branding, artist campaigns, and social content.
  • Stay current on design trends, visual culture, and what's happening in the global dance music scene.
  • Train and provide support in onboarding team members, clients, vendors, and partners when needed.
  • Support all other projects and initiatives as identified.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional design experience in agency, entertainment, or music industry preferred.
  • A sharp, polished portfolio that includes branding, event visuals, and digital content.
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator — motion is a big plus).
  • Deep understanding of visual hierarchy, color, typography, and layout.
  • Passion for dance music, festival culture, and nightlife aesthetics.
  • Comfort working under direction while owning and executing creative solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects with tight turnarounds.

Nice to Have

  • Motion design or video editing (After Effects, Premiere).
  • Merch design or creative direction experience.
  • Illustration, photography, or 3D experience.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
