About the Role

The portfolio includes top-rated television stations, digital media, video production companies, and studio facilities. The WHNS internship offers students an immersive, hands-on experience in broadcast media, providing opportunities to learn in various departments such as news, production, sales, marketing, and engineering, with the potential to transition into full-time roles.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a valued team member in one of the station's departments such as marketing, sales, creative services, sports, weather, news production, news MMJ, or engineering.
Gain hands-on experience in broadcast media by working alongside seasoned professionals.
Contribute to daily station operations and projects relevant to your department.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a college/university, preferably Junior or Senior.
Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
Earning a degree in Journalism/Communications, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, News, Sports, or related fields.
Interest in gaining practical experience in the local media industry.

Nice to Have

Interest in multiple departments such as marketing, sales, creative services, sports, weather, news production, or engineering.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a relevant college or university program.
Desire to gain hands-on experience in broadcast media.
