About the Role

Gray Media, or Gray, is a multimedia company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, formally known as Gray Television, Inc. KTUU, part of Gray Media, is Alaska's most-watched news source, producing extensive broadcast and digital content with a mission to "Tell Alaska's Story." The internship program offers immersive, hands-on experience across various departments within Gray Media's stations.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a valued team member in one of the station's departments such as news, production, sales, marketing, or engineering.
Gain hands-on experience by working alongside seasoned professionals in the broadcast industry.
Contribute to projects and daily operations within your assigned department.
Assist in creating content, supporting production, or other departmental tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a college/university (preferred Junior/Senior).
Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
Earning a degree in Journalism/Communications, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, News, Sports, or related fields.
Interest in gaining hands-on experience in the local media industry.

Nice to Have

Experience or interest in specific departments such as Marketing, Sales, Creative Services, Sports, Weather, News Production, News MMJ, or Engineering.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a college or university program.
Interest in media, journalism, communications, sales, marketing, engineering, or related fields.
