About the Role

Guidehouse is seeking an accomplished and highly motivated marketing leader with a digital-first mindset for our Communities, Energy & Infrastructure (CE&I) sector. This role involves developing and setting the direction for marketing programs aligned with the company's strategic goals and revenue plans, targeting customer markets such as Energy Providers, Federal Civilian Agencies, and State & Local Governments. The leader will collaborate with key stakeholders and executives to develop, execute, and report on marketing strategies, content initiatives, and multi-channel campaigns to drive awareness and lead generation, ultimately supporting the growth and brand positioning of Guidehouse in the CE&I sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a digital-first, demand generation team to plan and execute end-to-end demand generation programs relying on a strong understanding of CE&I priority markets, opportunities, and accounts.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the sales process and funnel to drive audience engagement and growth.
  • Develop and execute LinkedIn-focused campaigns to promote CE&I expertise and the Guidehouse brand, attracting and nurturing opportunities to support growth.
  • Ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals for key buyer personas and targeted regions, and are executed on budget and on time.
  • Create innovative multi-channel campaigns to drive MQLs and pipeline, monitoring conversion rates and optimizing campaigns at each stage of the funnel.
  • Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate, and measure marketing programs and workflows.
  • Collaborate with content strategy teams to develop high-impact assets and optimize SEO/SEM, ABM, social, and PPC strategies.
  • Comply with marketing department processes, procedures, and policies to ensure consistent execution and brand alignment.
  • Work with creative designers and external agencies to develop targeted, relevant digital ads and campaign assets.
  • Collaborate with other service lines and sectors to build integrated campaigns as needed.
  • Manage and execute multiple complex programs while fostering strong relationships across peers and leadership.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance to leadership.
  • Lead a team of one or more direct reports in an environment that fosters growth and develops future leaders.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to complete program deliverables on budget and on time, including communications, website, video, thought leadership, branding, and digital marketing.
  • Manage the CE&I sector marketing budget in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Reflect and steward the Guidehouse mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Twelve (12) or more years of experience in marketing, driving proven growth through strategic, multi-channel marketing programs, social activation, and content initiatives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of consultancy marketing and services provided by consulting firms to commercial and public sector clients.
  • Previous experience working within target markets, including state and local government, energy, utilities, and infrastructure.
  • Strong business acumen with critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of zero-baseline budgeting, strategic planning, media planning, and best practices for multi-channel campaign execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, listening, collaboration, interpretation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex subject matter clearly and concisely to broad audiences.
  • Experience creating impactful go-to-market initiatives for CE&I expertise and services.
  • Ability to create measurable value and impact through exceptional service, leadership, and brand stewardship.
  • Experience managing complex projects and building valued relationships internally and externally.
  • Experience working with external agencies to articulate business needs, set KPIs, manage budgets, and execute programs.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing campaign automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Google Analytics, Sitecore).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to lead a team and collaborate within a geographically dispersed organization.
  • Confident professional capable of interacting with leadership to gain respect and trust.
