Head of Data Science & AI Solutions (Hiring Immediately)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define and innovate machine learning capabilities to meet strategic business goals.
• Leverage state-of-the-art AI/ML tools and methodologies to develop and implement predictive models aligned with business priorities.
• Partner with business units to gather, analyze, and determine data and information requirements supporting the data and analytics roadmap.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to set strategic direction through data exploration, research of emerging technologies, and long-term strategic projects.
• Explore new technologies, analytical methods, and data sources to add value to the enterprise.
• Design and construct large, complex data sets from structured and unstructured data to enable analytical solutions.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of data science experts and develop their reputation as skilled professionals.
• Strengthen data stewardship, actively manage information risk, and participate in data governance forums.
• Ensure risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Statistics, or a related field, or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 10 years of experience in predictive modeling, large data analysis, and computer science.
• 4 years of people leadership experience managing high-performing analytics teams.
• Experience in stochastic modeling, machine learning, neural networks, simulation, and advanced mathematical techniques.
• Proficiency in at least one advanced analytics programming language such as Python or R.
• Strong track record of communicating insights and technical solutions to senior management.
• Extensive experience in data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling approaches like Gaussian Process, Markov Models, Hierarchical Clustering, K-Means, Linear and Logistic Regression, Monte Carlo Simulation, Neural Networks.
• Ability to interface with all levels of the organization and demonstrate business savvy.
• Experience leading business or product transformation through advanced analytics.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI solution deployment and model governance.
• Background in model risk management and regulatory reviews.
• US military experience or military spouse/domestic partner status.
