About the Role

The Head of Sustainability Data Reporting & Analytics at Kimberly-Clark is responsible for developing and deploying strategies focused on enhancing digital Sustainability and ESG solutions, data collection, validation, and analytics processes across the enterprise. Reporting to the Chief Sustainability Officer, this role involves leading the development of ESG-related voluntary and mandatory reporting and disclosures, partnering with senior leaders across various departments to integrate ESG into strategic plans, and ensuring accurate, auditable data for sustainability performance and disclosures. The position plays a key role in advancing the company's sustainability initiatives and supporting transparency and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for developing and deploying integrated digital solutions that provide transparency, data/analytics, and forecasting capabilities to meet enterprise EHS&S and ESG reporting goals.
  • Manage the ESG data and reporting strategy and processes, including data collection, validation, and harmonization to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Partner with digital technology teams to develop strategies that integrate data management with ESG and Sustainability reporting platforms.
  • Implement processes and controls to ensure data is auditable and compliant with internal controls frameworks, working with Internal Audit, Finance, and Controllership.
  • Develop and deliver training to stakeholders and the user community on ESG data and reporting processes.
  • Consolidate and analyze business unit data for company-wide ESG reporting, identifying gaps and priorities for digital solutions and system enhancements.
  • Lead and complete ESG/Sustainability reporting and disclosures, including developing annual report outlines, synthesizing data, and managing stakeholder feedback.
  • Monitor sustainability performance trends, benchmarking against industry peers and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing data, reports, and responses related to ESG and sustainability.
  • Provide ESG data, reports, and analyses to executive leaders and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in deploying digital solutions, ESG/Sustainability, and corporate data reporting.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience working with high-performing teams.
  • Experience working in large, complex consumer-oriented industries and publicly traded companies, preferably in consumer packaged goods.
  • Experience with data collection and reporting applications such as Snowflake, PowerBI, etc.
  • Strong data analysis skills with large, complex, and ambiguous data sets.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with external auditors and prepare ESG data for assurance processes.
  • Excellent business writing, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to educate and influence across various functions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory ESG reporting requirements and experience engaging with stakeholders on ESG issues.
