About the Role

The HPI Americas Consumption Sales Director at Intel is a leadership role responsible for managing and growing the Americas Consumption Sales Team within the client product portfolio. The position involves driving revenue, consumption volume, and market adoption of Intel's technologies across the region, including initiatives like Windows 11 refresh, AI PC adoption, and premium client solutions. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners, managing senior relationships, and developing strategic account plans. Ideally based in Santa Clara or other U.S. locations, the role is a commissioned sales management position with a focus on expanding Intel's market presence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales applications engineers to align new Intel technologies and product roadmaps with customer strategies.
  • Uncover and nurture emerging revenue opportunities including software, services, and foundry.
  • Close new design win opportunities that result in billed revenue across Intel's product portfolio.
  • Sell the full portfolio including Commercial and Consumer, Notebook and Desktop, Gaming and Workstation Solutions.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners such as distributors, OEMs, and ISVs to support assigned accounts.
  • Influence and enable sales through revenue growth while maximizing business with assigned accounts over the short and long term.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to identify growth opportunities via account planning and delivery execution.
  • Gather customer feedback to understand drivers of satisfaction or dissatisfaction and establish recovery action plans as needed.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing sales team, providing motivation to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage and convert the sales pipeline with discipline and strategic thinking.
  • Build and maintain senior executive relationships, demonstrating influence and presence.
  • Engage in strategic account planning, resourcing, prioritization, and efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales and/or marketing experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed based on business requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult negotiations with senior decision-makers.
  • Experience managing and cultivating senior executive relationships.
  • Strong business acumen in CCG and PC Client markets, including pricing and Market-Maker Business Process.
  • OEM T1 sales experience and comfort presenting to large audiences.
  • Ability to work in complex organizational environments and adapt to change.
  • Driven, goal-oriented, and a hunter mentality with a focus on success.

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years of working or knowledge of Intel architecture, strategy, and corporate direction.
  • Experience in the Commercial and Consumer PC segments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant sales and/or marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of people management experience.
