About the Role

We are looking for an AWS / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) specialist with Terraform expertise in Wilmington, DE. The role involves managing AWS resources, building data pipelines, and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Python. The position is a contract to hire for a duration of 6+ months, with a focus on cloud infrastructure, data processing, and automation within a dynamic technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage AWS infrastructure using IaC tools, specifically Terraform.
Build and maintain data pipelines utilizing Spark or Pyspark.
Develop CI/CD pipelines using Python.
Work with AWS services including S3 and EMR.
Collaborate with teams to ensure infrastructure and data solutions meet project requirements.

Requirements

Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly S3 and EMR.
Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Strong Python programming skills.
Experience with Spark or Pyspark is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage data and build CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have

Experience with other AWS services beyond S3 and EMR.
Knowledge of additional infrastructure automation tools.
Experience working in a contract or consulting environment.

Qualifications

Professional experience in cloud infrastructure and data engineering.
Proficiency in Python programming.
Experience with Terraform and AWS services.
