About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 5 or more complex programs or diverse workstreams within a program or functional area.
• Analyze data and user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
• Provide management oversight across multiple simultaneous projects or project tracts within a program.
• Operate in a business or technical environment, using analytical and evaluative techniques.
• Leverage extensive experience in a particular functional area to guide decision-making and processes.
• Confer with personnel of organizational units and identify specific input and output requirements.
• Conduct operational effectiveness reviews to assess and improve processes.
• Develop or update functional or operational manuals outlining established procedures in accordance with organizational policy.
• Perform scenario development, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Apply business-wide criteria for planning, analysis, design, development, and maintenance of systems across a major sector of the function or business applications.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures.
• Work in a flexible environment that includes remote, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office or center, with some in-person collaboration.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Management, or an equivalent field; or equivalent experience with customer approval.
• 10+ years of senior level leadership experience with power utility, with demonstrated experience in transmission and distribution.
• Established network of contacts and key relationships within regional utilities and utility leadership representatives.

Nice to Have

• PgMP certification preferred.
• PMP certification required.
• Agile or other Program Management certifications, training, and/or demonstrated experience with customer approval.
• IEEE, IEC participating member.
• Expert level leader and coach in simultaneous projects and programs.
• Demonstrated communication skills - verbal, written, and in presentation format.
• Ability to manage deliverables at all levels of the business structure from entry level to executive level management.
• Exemplary analytical cost management/cost control expertise including financial modeling, utilization of costing tools; SAP, Excel, and GAACP.
• Regulated utility exposure preferred.

Qualifications

Benefits & Perks

• Compensation ranges from $200,000 to $230,000 per year, depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience.
