About the Role

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure Developer for a 12-month contract position in Jersey City, NJ. The role involves significant experience in systems engineering and software development, focusing on infrastructure disciplines such as distributed operating systems, systems programming, network programming, and modern compute technologies. Key Responsibilities

Work with large-scale infrastructure environments across multiple data centers.
Develop and maintain systems automation and orchestration solutions.
Implement and support system and software security measures including SSO, Kerberos, LDAP, and Windows AD.
Participate in Agile development processes and automated testing.
Contribute to systems and application monitoring and instrumentation.

Requirements

Significant experience in both Systems Engineering and Software development.
Proficiency in at least one infrastructure discipline such as internals of distributed Operating Systems (Unix/Linux, Windows, Z/OS).
Experience in systems programming and network programming.
Experience in large-scale software development using languages like C, C++, Perl, Python, Java, C#,.NET.
Knowledge of enterprise-scale resiliency and modern compute technologies such as virtualization and cloud.
Experience with system and software security including SSO, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD.
Familiarity with Agile development processes and automated testing.
Experience working across large infrastructure environments and multiple data centers.
Experience in systems automation and orchestration.
Knowledge of systems and application monitoring systems and instrumentation.

Qualifications

Experience in systems engineering and software development.
Proficiency in infrastructure disciplines such as distributed OS internals, systems programming, or network programming.
Experience with programming languages like C, C++, Perl, Python, Java, C#,.NET.
