About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy data pipelines that transform data into structured output for analytics in a robust, efficient, and scalable framework.
• Build tools and frameworks to help users summarize and explore the data.
• Automate reporting and data quality checks.
• Provide ongoing support for deployed pipelines.
• Perform advanced SQL queries on large datasets to create analytics that provide insights to drive action.
• Create and maintain analytics dashboards using tools like Tableau and PowerBi.
• Create and maintain data ELT pipelines using Python and Airflow scheduling.
• Use Git and Jira for workflow tracking.
• Identify and improve underlying algorithms and infrastructure supporting Tesla Energy's fleet data.
• Optimize and undertake advanced SQL queries on massive datasets using Spark infrastructure.
• Monitor product performance, troubleshoot device issues, and deploy corrective actions such as firmware or hardware changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Experience building data pipelines using Airflow.
• Working knowledge of Spark and big data processing.
• Experience with Git or other source control software.
• Scala experience is a plus.
