About the Role

Infosys is seeking an IOS Mobile Application Developer. The primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The role involves assisting in the technical design of large business systems, building applications, understanding data security, retention, and recovery, and contributing to technology-specific best practices and standards. The candidate should be able to research technologies independently and contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, focusing on reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise and coordinate daily deliverables for the team.
Assist in the technical design of large business systems.
Build applications and interfaces between applications.
Understand data security, retention, and recovery processes.
Research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions.
Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
Contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability.
Guide implementation teams across multiple time zones through technical solutions.
Work collaboratively in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.
Work in a global delivery model and learn new technologies and product skills on the job.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
Experience in iOS development.
Experience with Objective-C, Swift, and Swift UI.
Experience with MVVM, MVC, and Clean Architecture Patterns.
Experience in concurrency and multithreading.
Experience in working with RESTFUL APIs and JSON to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
Experience in integrating iOS applications with backend services built in Java with frameworks like Spring Boot, Micronaut, or Jakarta EE.
Experience building complex systems involving high volumes and high performance/throughput expectations.
Good debugging skills and focus on code coverage and unit testing.
Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
Hands-on development experience.
Exposure to development and deployment in private/public cloud and DevOps practices.
Ability to perform techno-functional roles, work with business stakeholders, and collaborate with IT architects.
Ability to guide implementation teams across multiple time zones.

Nice to Have

7 years of experience in iOS development.
Experience in JavaScript.
Experience with high-performance/high-throughput systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, or three years of progressive experience in the field.
