IT Program Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate complex IT programs, including facilitating meetings, creating and distributing minutes and action items, and ensuring successful completion of tasks.
• Prepare program plans and reports, including budget spend plans and technical proposals for engineering review boards.
• Analyze functional business applications and design specifications to translate into IT requirements.
• Evaluate cloud strategies and services, selecting appropriate cloud solutions to meet requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain various network environments, including current cloud environments.
• Build and configure servers and workstations, providing hardware setup, installation, and maintenance of operating systems and software updates.
• Implement and maintain cyber defense capabilities to protect IT assets from threats and attacks.
• Plan, design, test, and monitor organizational computer and network security architecture, policies, and procedures.
• Lead Scrum teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality products and services.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior management, including editing technical documents and preparing reports.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in IT program management or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience managing successful IT complex programs and system integration.
• Experience preparing program plans, reports, and technical proposals.
• Knowledge of cloud strategies, services, and deployment in current cloud environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining network environments and cyber defense capabilities.
• Proficiency in leading Agile Scrum teams and applying Agile practices.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including technical documentation.
• Active TSSCI security clearance with wCI polygraph.

Nice to Have

• Experience reviewing network requirements and assessing enterprise options.
• Ability to coordinate and integrate deliverables from information and technology architects.
• Experience managing project risks, schedules, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with developing and maintaining IT roadmaps and schedules.
• Experience tracking program risks, mitigations, and financials, including monthly reporting.
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA A+ and Security+.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Active TSSCI security clearance with wCI polygraph.
