About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java backend Developer with experience in Python. In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and ReactJS. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Key Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and ReactJS.
Build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems based on elicitation, application architecture, definition, and design.
Create high-level design artifacts.
Deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module.
Lead validation for all types of testing.
Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in Java Springboot, Database, Shell Scripting.
Experience working in Python.

Nice to Have

At least 4 to 6 years of experience in Java/Microservices Development.
Experience in Java 8, REST, Springboot, microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, Junit, test framework, various design patterns.
Experience in Database.
Experience in software development life cycle.
Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
Good analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

Qualifications
