Junior Analytics Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tools and methodologies to help departments identify, understand, and prioritize the most pressing business challenges.
• Mine and analyze data from varied datasets, databases, and disparate internal systems.
• Transform SVG data into actionable intelligence to aid in decision-making.
• Design and document solutions for complex internal business problems for automated systems solutions.
• Search for new opportunities to optimize individual departments via data analysis.
• Consult with different departments to determine potential solutions to drive system changes and enhancements.
• Write Python code to support data analysis and automation tasks.
• Apply creative thinking in the use of Tableau dashboards and systems in developing business processes.
• Consolidate information into cohesive and understandable correspondence or other written forms for management decision-making.
• Validate the accuracy and integrity of database tables.
• Assist in managing database tables and pipelines.

Requirements

• Successfully demonstrated 2+ years' experience working in an operationally focused role.
• Bachelor or Associate Degree.
• Hands-on Python coding experience.
• Intermediate SQL skills.
• Strong analytical knowledge and abilities.
• Self-sufficient in problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
• Willingness to learn new tools and interest in coding programs such as Python.
