Junior Data Scientist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and model data using Python or R.
• Develop end-to-end data pipelines on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Implement machine learning algorithms and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost).
• Create data visualizations using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Work with big data tools such as Spark and Hadoop.
• Apply statistical methods, probability, and hypothesis testing to data analysis.
• Utilize cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure for data processing and deployment.
• Work on MLOps and CI/CD workflows related to machine learning models.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost).
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience with big data tools like Spark and Hadoop.
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with MLOps and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience developing end-to-end pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

Nice to Have

• Experience with forecasting techniques.

Benefits & Perks

• Base salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum.
