About the Role

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. The Lead Advanced Analytics role at AT&T is a senior management position responsible for leading marketing measurement programs, developing statistical analysis such as market mix models, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decisions. The role involves partnering with internal teams across marketing, operations, and finance, managing external agencies, and influencing business decisions through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate measurement programs like marketing mix models (MMM), custom models, and marketing experiments to drive actionable insights for strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with internal marketing analytics experts to design and deliver new analytics capabilities.
  • Partner with internal teams to create a measurement framework to evaluate all marketing activities based on KPIs and marketing objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of marketing modeling projects for assigned lines of business, including stakeholder alignment, data collection, model development and validation, insights extraction, visualization, and scenario planning.
  • Lead the creation of executive communication deliverables such as PowerPoint presentations, dashboards, and reports.
  • Generate insights on marketing effectiveness and develop actionable recommendations for cross-functional partners and senior executives.
  • Establish and maintain a recurring read-out cadence with key partners.
  • Influence business decisions through persuasive presentation of insights and solutions to marketing executives.
  • Lead program management meetings with external measurement partners to monitor progress and manage risks.
  • Centralize prioritization and alignment of measurement requests from internal partners.
  • Support team members to drive broader program adoption and integration of performance analytics.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in measurement of marketing impact, marketing attribution, sales analytics, or application of regression modeling results.
  • Knowledge of media and advertising with a passion for data-driven change.
  • Experience with statistical regression and attribution modeling such as MMM and MTA, either through hands-on development or working with external measurement partners.
  • Experience managing large, complex data sets and extracting insights for an executive audience.
  • Proficiency with data processing and visualization tools such as SQL, Palantir, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake.
  • Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and driving change with non-direct reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, influencing a wide range of business stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to innovate and transform ways of working.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with media and advertising analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with regression and attribution modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and processing tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake.

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional experience in marketing analytics, attribution, or sales analytics.
  • Experience with statistical modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Educational background or certifications in related fields preferred but not explicitly specified.
