About the Role

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. The role is based in Dallas, TX or Bothell, WA, within AT&T's Marketing & Growth Organization, which is responsible for driving sustainable growth through understanding customers, creating compelling products and experiences, and building a culturally relevant brand. The overall purpose of the role is to strategically analyze data from diverse sources using advanced predictive modeling, statistics, and trend analysis to support informed decision-making and optimize business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets to solve business problems, predict behaviors, and identify causal relationships, trigger points, and predictions.
  • Apply advanced statistical methods and traditional modeling techniques to support decision-making, using tools such as Tableau, Palantir, PowerBI, Databricks, AWS Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI.
  • Develop business cases and create complex models utilizing big data analytics tools for modeling and process integration, and make recommendations for process, financial, and business model improvements.
  • Build and test predictive models on various data samples and verify their accuracy in real-world scenarios.
  • Develop visualizations such as dashboards, reports, and charts, and advise business partners on data patterns and relationships to recommend strategic directions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in web analytics, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other relevant platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing principles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) methodologies.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for investigation, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Strong collaboration, team- and time-management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Candidates with ability to story-tell with data.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Master’s degree from an accredited university in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or Physics.
  • Typically requires 5-8 years of experience.
