Lead Analyst, People Analytics

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain security groups, domains, and business process security policies.
• Conduct regular audits of user access and security configurations to ensure compliance with ITGC and internal controls.
• Support quarterly privileged access reviews and coordinate with IT Security and HR stakeholders.
• Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to resolve access issues and implement security best practices.
• Develop, test, and maintain custom and standard Workday reports.
• Provide real-time insights into user access, organizational data, and compliance metrics.
• Support internal audits and data requests by generating evidence and documentation.
• Create interactive broadly sourced Power BI Dashboards.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and other cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and security requirements.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and change management processes.
• Train and support end-users on Workday reporting tools and security protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Six (6) or more years of prior relevant experience.
• 5+ years of related experience in project implementations, business analysis, process design, and managing customers.
• 5+ years of experience managing Workday security.
• 3+ years of experience using Workday reporting.
• Experience with large-scale data management, data structures, and data schemas (relational database structures).
• Knowledge of data visualization principles and experience conveying data.
• Knowledge of industry trends with the ability to anticipate and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
• Broad knowledge of predictive analytic techniques and statistical diagnostics of models.
• Strong communication, team building, and client service experience.
• Knowledge of HR business process fundamentals.

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
• Expertise in creating dynamic and interactive reports in Power BI.
• Experience in SQL and HRIS systems.
• Proficiency in statistical software and coding languages (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS, Python, Cypher).
• Candidates in the Tysons Corner, VA area.
