About the Role

UKG is seeking a Lead Product Manager to lead scrum teams within the UKG Ready suite, focusing on critical payroll and tax products. The role involves providing direction in an Agile environment, managing requirements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to support product launch and growth. Key Responsibilities

Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
Work with Product Managers to define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, writing and elaborating on user stories
Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Follow competitors and industry trends
Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Provide functional demonstrations of products
Assist in drafting and editing product-related documentation
Work with cross functional teams in support of product launch

Requirements

3+ years in SaaS Product Management
4-5+ years of US Payroll/US Taxation and/or services industry experience
Strong knowledge of US Taxation (Federal, State, Local) for both Employees and Employers
Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or equivalent work experience
Experience working with Agile or Agile Scrum methodologies (preferred)

Nice to Have

FPC or any Payroll related certification
Enterprise SaaS software solution experience
Commercial product management experience
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in team-oriented structures

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience
