About the Role

As a Lead Project Engineer in Aerospace Flight Management Systems at Honeywell, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams across different countries to ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • 7+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles
  • Must be a U.S. Person, which includes U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or having protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or ability to obtain export authorization

  • Understanding of business objectives and ability to interact with customers
  • Ability to work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives
  • Persuasion skills to influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
  • Significant experience in engineering
