Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
Design, develop, and deploy software applications using Golang, Microservices, ReactJS, DynamoDB, Postgres, REST API development, AWS managed services, and Terraform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver robust software solutions
Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration
Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance the development process
Monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of software applications
Manage project timelines and resources effectively

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience in a software engineering leadership role
8+ years of experience/proficiency in Golang or related tools such as Java, C#, Microservices, ReactJS, DynamoDB, Postgres, REST API development, AWS managed services, and Terraform
5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies
5+ years of experience working in fast-paced and dynamic environments

Nice to Have

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with other programming languages and technologies
Proven knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
Experience with cloud-native application development

Qualifications

Formal educational background includes a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is preferred
