Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
  • Design, develop, and deploy software applications using Golang, Microservices, ReactJS, DynamoDB, Postgres, REST API development, AWS managed services, and Terraform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver robust software solutions
  • Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance the development process
  • Monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of software applications
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in a software engineering leadership role
  • 8+ years of experience/proficiency in Golang or related tools such as Java, C#, Microservices, ReactJS, DynamoDB, Postgres, REST API development, AWS managed services, and Terraform
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience working in fast-paced and dynamic environments

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with other programming languages and technologies
  • Proven knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Experience with cloud-native application development

Qualifications

  • Formal educational background includes a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is preferred
