About the Role

Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. The role involves working on specific projects critical to Google's needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as the business evolves. The Magic Eye team aims to guide strategic decision making for Google's consumer products through data-informed insights, user metrics, and success definitions, building analytical capabilities and launching prototypes for a broad audience within Google.

Key Responsibilities

Drive and accelerate the development of exciting content and capabilities (magical insights, custom grouping, data access needs across Google).
Balance challenging business logic/data quality and infrastructure problems within an agile team.
Prototype and design solutions that scale.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in software development.
2 years of experience with front-end frameworks, full-stack development, or API development.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Experience with HTML, CSS, TypeScript or JavaScript.
Experience with Boq, SQL.

Nice to Have

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience with full-stack development, across backend and frontend.
1 year of experience testing, and launching software products.
Experience with AI technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
