About the Role

As an experienced Software Engineer working for our leading client, you serve as a member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Depending on the team that you join, you could be developing mobile features that give our customers and clients more control over how they bank with the client, strategizing on how big data can make client's trading systems quicker, creating the next innovation in payments for merchants, or supporting the integration of client's private and public cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.
Develop mobile features to enhance customer control over banking services.
Strategize on leveraging big data to improve client's trading systems.
Create innovations in payments for merchants.
Support the integration of client's private and public cloud platforms.
Perform impact analysis, create design documents, manage change releases, deployments, monitoring, and estimation.
Work within the SDLC cycle and ensure proper deployment and monitoring of applications.

Requirements

Good hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2.
Experience with ISPF commands/utilities.
Knowledge of ENDEVOR configuration tool.
Experience with CICS (handling VSAM and DB2).
Proficiency with File Aid for DB2 and file management.
Exposure to incident management/change request management tools.
Knowledge of scheduling tools such as CA7 and Control-M.
Experience with debugging tools for batch and online environments (e.g., Xpeditor, Abend Aid).
Working knowledge of Assembler.
Experience working in SCRUM environments and handling JIRA.
Experience in impact analysis, design documentation, change release, deployment, monitoring, and estimation.
Complete understanding of the SDLC cycle.
Working knowledge of Micro Focus Unit Testing Framework.
Awareness of deploying COBOL applications.
