Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day management of search campaigns, including keyword optimization, bidding, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance to identify areas for improvement and implement optimizations to meet or exceed goals.
  • Collaborate with the junior team to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive performance reports to clients, highlighting key metrics and insights.
  • Identify and address potential issues or obstacles, working with team members to find solutions.
  • Provide regular updates to the team on project status, highlighting achievements and challenges.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Lead the team in monthly billing and reconciliation process and protocols.
  • Lead the strategy of all paid search asset creation with a test/learn/scale mindset.
  • Act as a quality assurance check on all paid search account management deliverables.
  • Train and onboard new teammates, ensuring they can handle tasks independently in the future.
  • Delegate tasks effectively based on team roles and responsibilities to maximize team utilization.
  • Conduct recurring 1:1s with teammates to provide guidance on tactical questions and broader career development.

Requirements

  • Relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant paid search management experience, including 1+ years of team management experience.
  • Demonstrated advanced usage of Google, Bing Performance Max, and Scripts.
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Experience with bid management platforms like Marin, SA360, or SKAI.
  • Proficiency with platforms like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new software and tools.
  • Familiarity with ad server tracking setups, floodlights, and QA of ad delivery and tracking.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and a passion for A/B testing with a test/learn/scale mindset.
  • Results-driven professional with a desire to succeed in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Strong management, mentoring, coaching, and career development skills.
  • Active pursuit of learning and developing new skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

  • Programmatic, Video, or Paid Social experience.
  • Familiarity with DSPs such as DV360 or social ad platforms.
  • Experience with advanced reporting/dashboard tools like Tableau or Looker.
  • Experience in large, regulated industries such as financial services.
  • Presentation polish and cross-channel strategy development.

  • Educational background or training relevant to the role
